ITBP Recruitment 2021 - Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

The candidates must hold matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board to apply for ITBP GD Constable Posts.

Age Limit (as on 02/09/2021)

18 to 23 years (Relaxation in age as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules)
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST by 05 years and for OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) by 03 years
The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for Departmental candidates with three years continuous service and in addition 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC

Sports Qualification

Players who have participated or won a medal in the level of competition given at Para 4 (b) of this advertisement from 01/01/2019 till 02/09/2021 will only be considered.

The candidates will be paid with Level 3 in the pay matrix Rs. 21,700 – 69,100 (as per 7th CPC) and other allowances as admissible in the Force when selected for the post of General Duty Constable posts in Indo Tibetan Border Police.
